Well everyone like to have his piece of glory in an interview...but what is it to say, really?
They're showing my cover and that's pretty much all they can do.
I'm just the cover artist here.
It's like the covergirl of a magazine ; you might think she's pretty and hopefully helps the sales, but would you ask her what she thinks about the magazine's contents? LOL!

Anyway, I'm not part of the book creative team and didn't work on designing the costumes or anything. So it's only fair that they focus on the people who are actually doing that book.

But I think it's going to be an exciting new series from what I've heard from the editor. And the creative team couldn't be better.

Great cover Paul!
Are you recovered from the Breda con?
Took me till today to be myself again. But the convention was worth it. Wink

Here's my cover for issue 2.
I think the series's gonna be a lot of fun. I'm working on the cover for issue 3 right now, and I'm very excited to read the story.
The whole creative team is very fond of the characters, and I know they'll bring the right combination of fun and action to a title like this.

Written by JIM MCCANN, penciled by DAVID LOPEZ, cover by PAUL RENAUD

Hawkeye & Mockingbird are back in action together -- but so are their two greatest foes! Who is the all-new, all-deadly Phantom Rider? Crossfire once took Hawkeye's hearing from him Đ what will he take from him now? Plus: what secret has Clint uncovered that could destroy everything that he and Bobbi are fighting for?

32 pages, $2.99.

Hawkeye was always a charecter on his own with his personal sense of duty he proved to be a leader hopefully this series carries on the torch.

Here is the cover for Hawkeye & Mockingbird #3.

I did something like 10 slightly different roughs for this, and was very happy when one got approved. But then I realized I didn't know how to draw the new costume in that particular pose.

Fortunately, I got to see one of David Lopez interior page just it time to rework the Hawkeye figure before deadline. The cover had been already approved, but luckily David drew a very close shot, and it was a life saver.
I owe him big time.

Hi

Going over the thread i now notice that Hawkeye's left arm is covered by chainmail.
Talking about hiding is plain sight.
