Frank Frazetta died today from a stroke. I've changed the "Featured Items" on my CAF Gallery homepage to feature the only
two Frazetta origials I own:

Rest In Peace, Mr. Frank Frazetta, February 9, 1928 - May 10, 2010, a giant in
the world of fantasy and heroic art. As I was musing about this, I was having a
hard time thiking about a world without Frank Frazetta in it. The only good
thing was to remember that at least we lived in a world that DID have Frank
Frazetta in it!

Beautiful words, Ray.
It is a very sad way to start the day for me.
I'm surrounded by Frazetta posters and prints as I'm typing these words. His work had the most significant impact on me as a learning artist, and to this day. He's in my mind in every line of every Red Sonja page that I draw.
Rest in peace Frank Frazetta.

HI

With the death of Frank Frazetta a era ends.
Sad news indeed but his art will live on.

All the best
Guido
